, music mogul Damon Dash opens up about the untimely death of his former girlfriend, Aaliyah.
In 2001, the singer died when her plane crashed in The Bahamas. In the episode, host Jeannie Mai asks the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder if there was a chance he could be on that flight.
Soon thereafter the couple was inseparable, smooching in snapshopts and roaming from movie premieres, softball games to the Hamptons.
"There is no chance that, if I was there, we would have been on that plane." he said.
"So it would have never happened that way."Dash explained that he had been against her going to the Bahamas to shoot the "Rock the Boat" video in the first place, but she felt like she had to go.
And when she told him that she didn't like the plane that they were supposed to fly out on, again he warned her against it.
It would be like we were the only ones in the room," Dash recalls.
"It was like something was going down in history every time I was with her.
